The users of non-custodial wallet Atomic Wallet have lost more than $100 million as a result of a hacker attack, according to Elliptic analysts.

The company monitors more than 5,500 crypto wallets believed to have been compromised in the attack.

The measures taken by Elliptic have led to the freezing of more than $1 million in assets. Analysts are still searching for the stolen funds.

Elliptic experts have also added information about cryptocurrency wallets used by the Russian exchange Garantex, through which the attackers laundered part of Atomic Wallet's funds.

Last June 2, several user accounts of non-custodial wallet Atomic Wallet were compromised, leading, according to preliminary estimates, to losses of $35 million in digital assets.
