Number of Crypto ATMs Worldwide Exceeds 35,000

The number of cryptocurrency ATMs worldwide has increased to 35,065, up 5% from 33,389 in April, according to Coin ATM Radar.

According to the company, the United States remains the leader in the number of crypto ATMs installed with 30,014 (84.7%), followed by Canada's 2,740 (7.6%) and Australia's 463 (1.3%).

In terms of manufacturers, General Bytes leads the way with 10,109 ATMs (28.8%), followed by BitAccess (6,913 or 19.7%) and Genesis Coin (6,596 or 18.8%).

The leading cryptocurrency ATM operator is Bitcoin Depot, which operates 6,362 devices or 18.2% of the market share, followed by Coin Cloud (4,265, 12.2%) and CoinFlip (4,043, 11.5%).

Cryptocurrency ATM installations started to slow down in January last year. Thus, during the second half of last year, only 94 new ATMs were installed, compared to 4,169 in January-June.
