US crypto exchange Coinbase has just announced it will not charge commissions for buying USDC for SGD for Singapore customers, in addition to listing 200 trading pairs with this stablecoin and a crypto staking service.

Ethereum, Solana, Cardano, Cosmos and Tezos will reportedly be available in the latest offering.

The decision has been made as part of the intensification of international expansion against the background of difficulties with the SEC in the US.

The regulator sent in March a Wells notice to the exchange regarding the listing procedure on the platform and its products: Coinbase Prime, Coinbase Wallet and the staking service Coinbase Earn.

In April, the company responded to the SEC's complaints by stating its readiness to "resolutely defend itself."

That same month, the company filed a lawsuit seeking a response from the SEC to a petition filed in July 2022. In this, the platform demanded clarification on the regulation of the crypto sector.

This month Coinbase announced the launch of Coinbase International Exchange, an international digital asset futures platform.
