The Sui Network developers have launched the mainnet on Wednesday, May 3, at 7:30 am EST, according to a press release from the Sui Foundation.

Community members can also transfer liquidity from other network, as Sui has been added to the list of cross-chain bridges on Portal Token Bridge. Greg Siourounis, Managing Director of the Sui Foundation, said blockchain developers can now "build freely, without being inhibited by complex infrastructure, and unlocks endless possibilities for users across the world."
In early May, Binance boss, Changpeng Zhao, warned crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun from using $56 million to farm tons of SUI tokens. The warning came shortly after Whale Alert tweeted that Sun had transferred the sum in the TUSD stablecoin to Binance. Zhao noted in a tweet that Binance Launchpool was meant for retail users, "not just for a few whales."
