The Open Network (TON) has added support for the Ethereum ecosystem to its cross-chain bridge, making it possible for crypto investors to transfer liquidity between different blockchain networks.

In a blog post on Tuesday, TON said users can now bridge wrapped bitcoin (wBTC), tether (USDT), USD coin (USDC) and DAI (DAI). Later, the TON team plans to add more tokens for bridging. Besides Ethereum, the bridge also supports BNB Chain (formerly Binance Smart Chain).
Although the bridge has been audited by CertiK, Quantstamp and Hexens, the developers say the audits do not "completely eliminate risks." Justin Hyun, Head of Incubation at TON Foundation, says the new addition is expected to bring a "host of new users to the TON ecosystem."
