Crypto mining company HIVE Blockchain Technologies mined a total of 282 BTC in March and raised its reserves to 2,310 BTC.
Within a month, the company completed the deployment of a batch of 5,600 ASIC BuzzMiners with Intel chips. On March 31, HIVE brought the hashrate to 3.36 EH/s, including the power of the graphics processor (GPU) fleet.
For the month, the average stood at 3.09 EH/s. HIVE CEO Frank Holmes has noted that Bitcoin mining difficulty in March increased by approximately 9% to 46.84 T.

The company increased its hashrate by 12% during the period.
According to HIVE president and CEO Aydin Kilich, the mining profitability of the GPU fleet was on average 16% higher than that of ASIC devices.
HIVE mined 3,146 BTC last year, whereas the company's total digital asset mining volume during the period in Bitcoin terms was 4,752 BTC.
