Etoro, the social investing and trading platform, has partnered with Twitter to enable the social network's users to see detailed information about stocks, crypto and exchange traded funds (ETFs), the company announced in a blog post.

From now on, users can see live charts for financial assets using a $Cashtag symbol. Users will also have the option to invest in crypto and stocks by redirecting to the eToro website.
Yoni Assia, CEO and Co-Founder of eToro, said Twitter has become a "crucial part of the retail investing community," adding that financial content on social media has provided education to "many who have felt excluded by more traditional channels."
In February, reports said Twitter was seeking a regulatory approval for its new engineering architecture that would bring payments for creators on the social media platform.
Twitter has already registered with the US Treasury as a payment processor, and the social media giant is now hunting for the state licenses needed to launch the business. People close to the matter say that Elon Musk wants the company to explore more ways for users to reward creators, including crypto.
