Trezor says scammers are reaching out to victims to convince them there's been a security breach or suspicious activity on their crypto accounts. According to a report from BleepingComputer, the phishing attack is pretty massive as bad actors have made their own copy of the Trezor official website to steal mnemonic phrases from victims.
Trezor stressed it had found no evidence that its database was breached, calling on customers to stay away from phishing SMS/email letters and phone calls. "We will never contact you via calls or SMS," the Trezor team added.
