Insurance and Digital Asset Protection Company Coincover Raises $30M

Insurance and digital asset protection service Coincover has just raised $30 million in a funding round led by Foundation Capital.

According to the company, the funds raised will enable it to grow its customer base and expand its range of services.

Charles Moldow, general partner at Foundation Capital, has said:

"This new funding will accelerate recruitment, product updates, and partnerships to safeguard the crypto ecosystem."

The UK startup offers insurance protection and assurance services for crypto-investors and businesses.

Coincover raised $9.2 million in 2021 in a Series A round involving Valor Equity Partners, Susquehanna Private Equity Investments, LLLP and DRW Venture Capital.

David Janczewski, co-founder of Coincover, has said:

"I would say we are seeing a significant increase in demand from a wide range of clients who, when I talk to any of them, tend to be proactive when thinking about protecting client assets."
