ConsenSys has just integrated its non-custodial wallet MetaMask with Indian payments platform Onramp.money, which operates on the basis of local crypto exchange Bitbns.
The service reportedly offers a "simple and affordable" solution for converting fiat into digital assets.
The statement shared by the company reads:
"Users of MetaMask in India will now be able to purchase crypto directly within the MetaMask mobile app using onramp.money’s API which supports various local payment methods, such as UPI & IMPS, for a more seamless experience, making it cheaper, faster, and more efficient."

ConsenSys has highlighted the cryptocurrency market in India is showing significant growth due to the emergence of an increasing number of exchanges and other platforms.
However, the company believes the process of buying and selling digital assets can be improved with the emergence of a real-time payments infrastructure, a problem that MetaMask's new partnership aims to solve.
