According to the latest report filed by electric car maker Tesla with the SEC, the company's negative revaluation of the 9,720 Bitcoins it held last year amounted to $204 million, while gains from the conversion of part of the coins stood at $64 million, resulting in the company losing $140 million.
According to the document, the negative revaluation amounted to $34 million during the fourth quarter of 2022, during this period there were no transactions with BTC.

The company "as a result of certain sales" of Bitcoin in 2021, earned $128 million. At the end of the year, losses from the depreciation of Bitcoin amounted to $101 million.
Tesla estimated in October the value of Bitcoins held by it at $218 million.
Three months earlier, Tesla reported that it had sold 75% of the Bitcoins held for $936 million.
