NFT studio Doodles, known for its cartoon collection of digital non-fungible tokens, is in talks to acquire animation studio Golden Wolf, Deadline has learned, citing sources close to the discussion.

Although the price of the deal isn't disclosed, it is expected that the parties will close it within the next few weeks. Under the acquisition agreement, Golden Wolf CEO and Founder, Ingi Erlingsson, will join Doodles in a role of Chief Content Officer. He will also oversee Golden Wolf's offices abroad.
Doodles head, Julian Holguin, said that the deal "advances our strategic priorities of creating world class content, leveraging technology to incubate new formats and ultimately, spreading joy to millions around the world."
Golden Wolf worked with Adult Swim on "Rick & Morty" as a content creator. The studio also collaborated with Disney, Facebook, Nike and Illumination.
