Binance Receives License to Operate in Poland

Crypto exchange Binance has just received a virtual asset service provider license from the Polish authorities to operate in the country.

Katarzyna Wabik, CEO of the exchange's local division, has said:

"Binance Poland has adopted risk and AML policies to match these exacting standards."

It should be noted that users of the platform in Poland must sign the new terms and conditions in order to continue using the exchange's services.

The company has also reported it intends to increase the division's workforce, organize events and educational initiatives.

Binance's user base last year exceeded 120 million and its team grew to 7,500 employees.

Changpeng Zhao, CEO of the exchange, has previously said the company intends to increase its staff by 15-30% this year.
