Binance and Huobi have frozen a total of 124 BTC ($2.58 million) stolen during the $100 million hack of Harmony's cross-chain bridge Horizon.
Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao said:
"We detected Harmony One hacker fund movement. They previously tried to launder through Binance and we froze his accounts. This time he used Huobi. We assisted Huobi team to freeze his accounts."
According to analytics firm ZachXBT, the attackers transferred 41,000 ETH valued at $63.5 million from the hack through Railgun on January 13 and 14 before consolidating the funds and depositing them on three different exchanges. To do so, the hackers used more than 350 addresses.
