Blockchain company ConsenSys has just announced that it intends to lay off around 100 employees, CoinDesk has reported citing an informed source.
According to it, the company is still finalizing optimization measures, so the exact number of employees who will be leaving the company is unknown.

It should be noted that ConsenSys is not the first company to make the decision to reduce its workforce. Unfavorable market conditions have led to a wave of mass layoffs at companies.
For example, OTC platform Genesis Trading has laid off 30% of its employees, whereas Coinbase announced earlier this month the layoff of 950 people.
