Cryptocurrency mining company Core Scientific mined a total of 1,356 Bitcoins and 1,435 Bitcoins in November and December, respectively, a growth of 5.8% despite the company taking its equipment offline due to bad weather.
At year-end, Core Scientific's fleet of devices consisted of around 153,000 ASIC miners with a total hashrate of 15.7 EH/s.

Notably, customer-owned platforms mined 795 Bitcoins in November and 931 Bitcoins in December.
Recall that a storm that hit the US last month forced many US miners to shut down their devices to balance the network or for security reasons.

According to the statement:
"In November and December totaled 5,828 and 17,179 megawatt hours, respectively. Core Scientific works with the communities and utility companies in which it operates to enhance electrical grid stability."
