Nobuyaki Kobayashi, trustee of bankrupt crypto exchange Mt.Gox, has informed the platform's creditors that the deadline for filing compensation claims has been modified.
While in October last year victims were asked to register in a special online system by January 10, according to the latest document, the new date is March 10.
It should be noted that users have been asked to submit recipient information and select a payment method, otherwise they would not be able to receive the funds.

Some of these lenders may have to bring the necessary documents to Mt.Gox's head office or the trustee's designated location in order to receive payments in yen.
Users who have already completed the process do not need to do so again.
Kobayashi has also postponed the terms of the principal, intermediate and advance lump sum repayment from July 31 to September 30.
