According to data provided by Hashrate Index, ASIC devices for crypto mining are sold at the lowest prices since the May 2021 peaks.

The price of devices such as the Antminer S19 or Whatsminer M30 with an efficiency of more than 38 J/TH has reportedly dropped to $15.71 per TH, whereas in May last year, the figure was as high as $119.25.

Meanwhile, the price of less efficient miners (38-68 J/TH) has dropped from $96.24 to $10.23 per TH during the same period.

It is worth noting that even for obsolete devices like the Antminer S9 (with an efficiency of around >68 J/TH) a year and a half ago, buyers were paying almost $51 per TH. Now, only $4.7.

Apparently, there is an obvious connection between the price of mining devices and the price of Bitcoin. However, the correlation has been broken over the past few months.
