Reuters noted — citing sources — that US officials with the FBI and the US Marshals Service have already arrived in Nassau. It's unclear when exactly Bankman-Fried would be extradited to New York.

In the US, Bankman-Fried is facing charges related to wire and securities fraud, money laundering and others from the US Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, the CFTC and the SEC.
