MetaMask, a cryptocurrency wallet developed and owned by ConsenSys, will allow its US users to buy ether (ETH) using PayPal.

Lorenzo Santos, Product Manager for MetaMask, said in a press release that the integration with PayPal "will allow our US users to not just buy crypto seamlessly through MetaMask, but also to easily explore the Web3 ecosystem." At launch, the new feature will be available only to select US users.
In June, PayPal gave its customers an option to transfer bitcoin (EXANTE: Bitcoin), ether (ETH), bitcoin cash (BCH) and litecoin (LTC) to external wallets, including exchanges and hardware wallets. However, in order to transfer crypto to external wallets, users are required to complete ID verification steps.
