Former US President, Donald Trump, has revealed his own superhero collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), portraying him as an astronaut, pilot, boxer and so on.

The so-called CollectTrumpCards collection consists of 45,000 digital collectibles minted on Polygon. While the price of each NFT is set at $99, there will be a 10% royalty on the sale price that will be paid back to the creator.

According to the website of the initiative, buyers of the NFTs can win an invitation to a dinner with Trump or get a private meeting with Donald Trump at Mar-A-Lago.

In September 2021, Trump warned in an interview with Fox Business that investing in cryptocurrencies might lead to disaster. According to the billionaire, investing in cryptocurrencies hurts the US dollar. The former US president also added that digital assets may be "fake" because people know too little about them.

In June 2020, former US national security advisor, John Bolton, revealed in his book "The Room Where It Happened" that Donald Trump tried to take his fight against bitcoin to the regulatory level. According to Bolton, Trump asked former Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin, to "go after Bitcoin" during a meeting on trade sanctions and tariffs against China back in May 2018.
