Rockstar Games Says No to Crypto, Bans NFTs in GTA Online

Rockstar Games, an American video game developer best known for Grand Theft Auto (GTA) and Red Dead Redemption, has barred gamers from using non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and cryptocurrencies on Roleplay servers of GTA Online.

According to the updated legal policy, gamers are now prohibited from using cryptocurrencies or NFTs on the game servers. The game developer has also banned gamers from using world brands, characters and trademarks on servers.

Although Rockstar Games didn't explain the reason behind such a move, the company said it wants to support creators who showcase their passion for games in "reasonable" way.
