JPMorgan Aims at Crypto Wallet With New Trademark: Report

American banking conglomerate JPMorgan Chase has registered a trademark, describing a cryptocurrency wallet with support of credit and cash card payment processing services.

According to a tweet published by Mike Kondoudis, a licensed trademark attorney, the so-called J.P. Morgan Wallet will also offer services of crypto and foreign currency exchange. The banking giant already has a special page on its website dedicated to the wallet, although no mentions of support for "virtual currencies" are present.

The move comes shortly after JPMorgan Chase onboarded Aaron Iovine as its executive director for digital assets regulatory policy. Prior to JPMorgan, Iovine worked eight months at Celsius Network as head of policy and regulatory.
