Decentralized exchange protocol Uniswap is storing user-related data such as device type and browser version to make "data-driven decisions that improve user experience," Uniswap Labs revealed in a blog post.

While the firm declined to disclose the full list of data, which Uniswap collets from users, Uniswap Labs noted it doesn't store any personal data like first name, last name, street address, date of birth, email address, or IP address. The firm reassured users it doesn't share data "with any third parties for marketing purposes."
Uniswap Labs says that with the updated privacy policy, it wants to be "crystal clear about what data we're protecting and how we use any data we collect.
In October, Uniswap raised $165 million in a Series B funding round led by Polychain Capital. The company behind the trading platform said in a blog post that longtime investors such as a16z crypto, Paradigm, SV Angel and Variant also participated in the funding.
