Crypto exchange Bitstamp has just obtained a digital asset service provider license in Spain.
From now on, the company can operate throughout Spain in full compliance with AML and CFT regulations.
Bitstamp has committed to comply with the new advertising requirements related to digital assets.
The consideration of the application began in January.

According to Bitstamp CEO Jean-Baptiste Graftieaux, the license in Spain is the 50th received by the Luxembourg-based exchange.
Binance received a similar permit from the Bank of Spain in July.
