FTX Announces it Has More Than One Million Creditors

Crypto exchange operator FTX, which has filed for bankruptcy, has more than one million creditors, the document for the court shows.

According to it:

"As indicated in the debtors' petitions, there are more than 100,000 creditors in these cases. In fact, there could be more than one million creditors in these Chapter 11 Cases."

The firm has proposed that the cases of the 130 affiliated organizations, including Alameda Research, be considered as part of a single proceeding, rather than on a case-by-case basis.

According to the release:

"The Debtors submit that cause exists to modify that requirement such that the Debtors will file a consolidated list of their top 50 creditors."

Representatives of companies associated with Sam Bankman-Fried have requested the ability to send notices to creditors by e-mail.
