A recent report from Bloomberg states that prosecutors in Seoul confirmed that Kwon is likely using Dubai as a stopover, without detailing the final destination.
The news comes after the Financial Times reported that a group of 4,400 Terra's investors is trying to find Kwon, who's — according to Korean authorities — on the run. Members of the group believe that the Terra founder might eventually be seeking a shelter in Russia, Azerbaijan or Seychelles.
Kwon has repeatedly denied accusations of hiding from South Korea's law enforcement. He's whereabouts remain unclear as he refused to reveal it for security purposes.
