Binance.US, the American affiliate of Binance, has welcomed BJ Kang, as its first Head of Investigations to build investigations infrastructure, the exchange announced in a blog post.

In his new role, BJ will fight criminal crypto-related activity on Binance.US. Brian Shroder, CEO and President of Binance.US, says BJ will be "instrumental" in strengthening the exchange's partnerships with law enforcement agencies.
Prior to Binance.US, BJ spent almost two decades at the FBI. For the past seven years, he was assigned to the FBI Washington Field Office (WFO) cyber crime squad, the exchange says. Before that, BJ served as an FBI Supervisory Special Agent with the National Cyber Investigative Joint Task Force (NCIJTF) Cyber Financial Pursuit Team.
