According to Jürgen Stock, Secretary General of the Interpol, the organization plans to strengthen the fight against crimes related to digital assets and help other countries in this direction.
He has noted at a press conference on the eve of the Interpol General Assembly in New Delhi that the lack of a legal framework for cryptocurrencies creates serious problems for law enforcement agencies.

He has added:
"Very often the agencies are not properly trained and equipped."
According to him, the Interpol has formed a division which is headquartered in Singapore whose aim will be to provide the authorities of other countries with the necessary assistance in the fight against cryptocurrency crimes.
Praveen Sinha, Director of India's Central Bureau of Investigation, has pointed out the importance of coordination between law enforcement agencies from different countries:
"The only answer is international cooperation, trust and real-time exchange of information."
