Mt.Gox has recently reported that the creditors of the cryptocurrency exchange, which filed for bankruptcy in 2014, must register in a special online system to receive compensation by January 10, 2023.

According to the document, users must provide information about the recipient and choose a payment method. It should be noted that the compensation will be postponed for victims who do not have time to provide all the necessary data.

At the moment it is unknown when the payments will be made. According to a source, compensations will start to be transferred before the end of next year.

The process of civil rehabilitation of the exchange was launched in 2018.
