FTX Partners With Visa to Issue Debit Card in 40 Countries

Cryptocurrency exchange FTX has entered into a long-term partnership with Visa to offer its branded debit cards in 40 new countries. FTX CEO, Sam Bankman-Fried, said in a press release that the card allows users to make use of their FTX crypto balances every single day "with no administrative or processing fees."

The card is expected to be available in Europe before the end of the year, with additional regional launches planned for 2023. It will be linked directly to the holder's FTX account, allowing them to swap and pay for goods and services.

Visa Reveals New Crypto Advisory Initiative

Cuy Sheffield, Head of Crypto at Visa, pointed out that Visa believes in digital currencies and hopes it will have a "lasting impact on the future of financial services and money movement."
