Tether is continuing expansion of its USDT stablecoin with the latest addition of NEAR Network. The company said in a press release on Monday that users can now back 700 projects built on NEAR Network with USDT.

Tether says NEAR Protocol NEAR processed from 300,000 to 400,000 transactions per day in July, which is why the company decided to add support for USDT there. Tether CTO, Paolo Ardoino, said:
"The NEAR ecosystem has witnessed historic growth this year and we believe Tether will be essential in helping it continue to thrive."
Besides NEAR Network, USDT is also available on Algorand, Avalanche, Bitcoin Cash’s Simple Ledger Protocol (SLP), Ethereum, EOS, Kusama, Liquid Network, Omni, Polygon, Tezos, Tron, Solana and Statemine.
