Canadian crypto mining company Hut 8 Mining accumulated at the end of August 8,111 Bitcoins valued at $152.7 million.
During the reporting period, the company mined a total of 375 BTC with an average productivity of about 12.1 BTC per day. It should be noted the firm did not sell any of these coins.
As of August 31, the company's hashrate reached 2.98 EH/s.

At the end of the month, the firm installed 180 Nvidia graphics cards in its flagship data center in Kelowna, British Columbia. According to the press release, Hut 8 has teamed up with Zenlayer to provide capacity to Canadian Web3 customers and blockchain companies.
Jaime Leverton, CEO of Hut 8, has said:
"Our team delivered very strong results across our mining and high performance infrastructure businesses in August, positioning us well for continued success."
According to him, the company continues to receive and install new MicroBT miners.
