Jill Sommers, a former CFTC commissioner, has joined the board of FTX US Derivatives.
Sommers is currently a senior advisor to Patomak Global Partners, a board member of the Ethics and Compliance Initiative and the nonprofit Everybody Wins! DC.

She previously served two consecutive terms, until July 2013, as a CTFC commissioner.
Sommers also has experience in the derivatives industry, including as Director of Policy and Head of Government Relations at ISDA and Managing Director of Regulatory Affairs at CME.
