Joseph Delong, CTO of the Astaria project, has reported the movement of small amounts of Ethereum from Tornado Cash mixer wallets to the addresses of well-known representatives of the cryptocurrency sector.

Some members of the community have suggested this is a kind of protest against OFAC's actions.

According to Etherscan, a large number of transactions in the amount of 0.1 ETH have been made. Recipients include EthHub co-founder Anthony Sassano, crypto trader Loomdart and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, among others.

The Block has written about it:

"This could raise issues for the recipients. For example, if the ether is sent to a wallet belonging to a US-based entity, such as a crypto exchange, it's possible they would need to freeze the funds."

One Twitter user has suggested the idea of creating an app that blocks unwanted incoming transfers to an Ethereum address.
