Kevin O'Leary, investor and star of the TV show Shark Tank, has said during an interview with Stansberry Research he has increased his investments in digital assets despite the current market downturn.
He has recalled:
"I've always said that you're going to get that volatility in an industry that's unregulated because there's no institutional offering."
O'Leary has invested in "large market cap cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum and Bitcoin."

He has said:
"Why not add to the position if you are going to stay long?"
The TV star believes one of the main current problems in the crypto sector is the lack of sufficient acceptance of digital assets among institutional investors.
O'Leary said in April he holds 32 positions in cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Solana.
