Meta is bringing its support for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on Instagram to the international level, adding 100 countries in Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and the Americas.

Meta said in a blog announcement that with the expansion, Instagram now supports wallet connections with the Coinbase Wallet and Dapper. As of today, Instagram supports connections with third-party wallets including Rainbow, MetaMask and Trust Wallet. Moreover, Instagram now also supports NFTs minted on the Flow blockchain in addition to Ethereum and Polygon.
Instagram started experimenting with NFTs in May this year. In the long run, Meta reportedly wants to synchronize NFTs on Instagram with Facebook, and is also working on a prototype platform to enable the issuance of these digital assets.
