A group of hackers has attacked the crosschain protocol Nomad and stolen $90 million in cryptocurrencies, researchers at SlowMist have reported.

The analysts have used the MistTrack platform to track the movement of funds to three Ethereum addresses. Most of the stolen assets are wrapped assets.

Nomad representatives have confirmed the information about the incident and assured users they understand what happened.

Nomad's developers raised $22 million back in April in a funding round led by Polychain Capital.
