A Twitter user nicknamed cringepolitik has raised his voice to say that GameStop's NFTs platform is selling unethical non-fungible tokens.

In particular, he has referenced an NFT with an image of a figure falling into a spacesuit.

According to cringepolitik, the Falling Man NFT is reminiscent of the photograph of the same name by Associated Press reporter Richard Drew, taken during the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York.

Another user has complained about the token to the marketplace's support service. GameStop has promised to remove the NFT and has assured that the author can no longer mint NFTs on the platform.

Another member of the crypto community has pointed out that the original pixelated photo of "Falling Man" has been for sale on OpenSea for two months.
