Finland Customs has sold 1,889 BTC confiscated during drug-related crime investigations.
According to the press release shared by the service, the state has received around €46.5 million from the sale of cryptocurrencies. The assets were sold by two digital asset service providers.

Around 90 BTC are still at the disposal of customs, pending a new court decision. The agency has also seized other cryptocurrencies, however, it has not disclosed details due to the ongoing preliminary investigation.
Earlier it has been reported that the Finnish authorities will use the proceeds from the sale of confiscated Bitcoins to help Ukraine.
According to customs representatives, the proceeds from the sale of cryptocurrencies will be transferred to Ukraine, which has already been approved in the country's parliament.
