US cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has just received a license from the Central Bank of Ireland to operate as a service provider in the digital asset market.
From now on, users in the country will have access to trading and storage of more than 100 cryptocurrencies and will be able to deposit funds in euros and British pounds into their accounts.

Gemini opened an office in Dublin last year. A year earlier, the platform applied for an e-money operator license. The company was licensed in this capacity in March.
Gemini received in 2020 a digital asset license from the FCA in the UK.
Gemini has carried out a second round of job cuts, resulting in it reducing its workforce by 17%.
