Crypto.com Receives License as a Digital Asset Provider in Italy

Crypto platform Crypto.com has just received a license from Italian regulator Organismo Agenti e Mediatori (OAM) that allows the company to offer digital asset-related services to the country's residents.

Kris Marszalek, CEO of Crypto.com, has said:

"We view it as a major step forward for Crypto.com."

According to the press release shared by the company, the firm currently has 50 million users.

Crypto.com has previously received approval from regulators in Greece, Singapore and Dubai to offer its services in these countries.

Last month, Marszalek announced the company plans to lay off about 5% of its staff.
