Samsung Electronics has launched its own playground field on Roblox called "Samsung Space Tycoon." The company said in a press release that with the hub, users can create and play games and share experiences.

Samsung added that its playground is mainly targeting Gen Z users to provide them with an "integrated, metaverse experience where they can create and enjoy their very own Samsung products." Samsung Electronics Executive Vice President at Corporate Design Center, Jinsoo Kim, said:
"We wanted to give our Gen Z customers a chance to experience Samsung products in a way they have never done before."
The playground consists of three key areas: the so-called mining zone for resource procurement, the shop for in-game purchases and the lab for product manufacturing.
In May, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) unveiled a $600 million fund aimed at the metaverse industry. The firm said that the so-called GAMES FUND ONE will back game studios, infrastructure services and games themselves.
