US online broker M1 Finance has just announced it plans to launch the ability to trade ten digital assets without charging commission.
The service will reportedly be launched in the "coming weeks." Support will initially be offered for Bitcoin, Ethereum and "other large-cap liquid assets."
According to Brian Barnes, the firm's founder, the company has made the decision to add this new service due to a strong need from clients who are interested in diversifying.

He has explained:
"Roughly half of our surveyed users wanting to use M1 to invest in crypto."
M1 Finance is a company founded in 2015 that has $5 billion in client assets. The online broker offers retirement account management and commission-free trading of stocks and ETFs.
