Hackers Stole More Than $670M from Crypto Projects in Q2

Experts from bounty platform Immunefi have reported that during the second quarter of 2022, hackers stole a total of $670,698,280 from cryptocurrency projects.

These have counted 50 incidents during the period, of which 49 were related to DeFi protocols.

The most affected projects are Beanstalk with losses of $181 million, Harmony with losses of $100 million, Mirror Protocol ($90 million) and Rari Capital ($80 million).

According to Immunefi specialists, compared to the same period last year, the losses of crypto-related projects from intrusive actions increased by about one and a half times.

During the first quarter of the year, hackers and fraudsters stole more than $1.22 billion from various protocols.
