Brian Schroder, CEO of Binance.US, the US division of Binance, has just announced the appointment of Jasmine Lee, a former PayPal employee, as CFO of the platform.

Lee has reportedly held a number of high-level positions at the payments giant, including CFO and COO. She later left to work at fintech firm Acorns.

Schroder has said:

"As the newest addition to our executive team, Jasmine will help drive efforts at Binance.US to progress towards an IPO within the next 2–3 years."

Lee's experience at PayPal "will be of great value" to the exchange. In the new position, she will oversee financial transactions, investor relations and other matters.

Binance.US was launched in the US in 2019. Schroeder took over as CEO in October 2021 after replacing former OCC chief Brian Brooks.
