US-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has just announced it intends to continue its expansion across Europe.
The company is reportedly conducting meetings with regulators in the UK and has set up a regional center of excellence in Ireland.
In addition, it should be noted the exchange has strengthened its team in Switzerland and is preparing to enter the French, Italian, Spanish and Dutch markets.

Coinbase currently has a presence in the UK, Ireland and Germany.
The trading platform has indicated that international expansion remains a priority for the company.
According to Coinbase, the coordination of the provisions of the crypto regulation bill MiCA will allow for scaling efforts within the entire EU space.
Between January and March, the exchange posted a net loss of $429.7 million, a figure that nearly doubled analysts' expectations.
