Coinbase Prime, the division of Coinbase focused on institutional investors, has reported it is having problems transferring SOL tokens to cold wallets due to a bug that last week caused the Solana network to crash, Dragonfly Capital managing partner Haseeb Qureshi has announced.

Coinbase has reported on this:

"Due to network update currently in progress on the Solana (SOL) network, on-chain custody transactions through Prime Vault and Custody, including new wallet creation, withdrawals and staking, are disabled temporarily."

Coinbase has stressed that customer assets are safe. Users can make deposits into existing wallets and existing participants will continue to receive rewards.

Last June 1, the Solana network did not produce new blocks for more than four hours due to a failure in the processing of "long-term non-directed transactions", which led to a violation of the consensus.

The project developers disabled this type of operation and asked validators to restart the blockchain.
