Hong Kong-based blockchain gaming operator Animoca Brands had more than $5 billion in fiat and digital cash reserves as of April 30, the company has announced in a report to investors.

During the third quarter of 2021 and the first four months of 2022, Animoca Brands generated about $721 million in revenue.

This figure includes revenue from sales of NFTs, including in the secondary market. As other revenues, the company has included gains/losses from investment activities and results from owning digital currencies.

As of April 30, the company had invested more than $1.5 billion in more than 340 projects, including Colossal, Axie Infinity, OpenSea, and Dapper Labs (NBA Top Shot).

Animoca Brands had a cash balance of $98 million in fiat and $211 million in USDC, USDT, BUSD, ETH and BTC.
