A bug in the smart contract of the non-fungible token (NFT) project AkuDreams has caused the project's Dutch auction to end with the loss of users' funds.
As a result of this error, more than 11,539 ETH valued at about $33.93 million have been permanently blocked in the smart contract.
Developer 0xfoobar has reported:
"$34 million, or 11,539 eth, is permanently locked into the AkuDreams contract forever. It cannot be retrieved by individual users or by the dev team."

At the end of the auction, losing participants were supposed to withdraw their ETH, however, due to an error in the contract logic, they are unable to use the emergency withdrawal function responsible for withdrawing funds.
According to 0xfoobar, the project team is also unable to withdraw assets "due to an incorrect mathematical increment."
